Car Speakers: Woofers

Diameters ranging from 130 to 260 mm, including oval speakers and front loaded magnet configuration.
Typical rated power ranging from 20 to 200 W with voice coil diameters from 19 to 55 mm.
Plastic baskets for easier integration of other functionality (connector, poleplates, gaskets), or metal baskets for higher mechanical stability.
Moving system and magnet system optimization follows customer requirements and audio brand indications in terms of acoustic performance, reaching the best cost at the same time.
Due to the size of these speakers, meticulous integration with car environment s and ASK’s vast experience in the material choices allow us to meet the toughest reliability requirements.

Car Speakers: Midrange

Diameters ranging from 70 to 100 mm, elliptic shape also available.
Typical rated power ranging from 10 to 50 W with voice coil diameters from 16 to 35 mm.
Plastic baskets for easier integration of other functionality (connector, poleplates, mounting brackets), or metal baskets for higher mechanical stability.
For this product that is typical of HiFi and branded system, ASK pays particular attention to the acoustic performance in strict cooperation with OEMs and audio brands. Vast experience in acoustics design and material choices allow us to achieve the best results.
Ideal placement in a car is essential to achieve the best sound performance and the ability of ASK to design shallow midranges without any acoustic drawback results in easier integration in the car cabin.

Car Speakers: Tweeters

Dome diameters ranging from 19 to 32 mm, inverted dome also available.
Rated power up to 25 W with voice coil diameters from 10 to 30 mm.
PC, cloth, silk, metal dome (Al, Ti) available and depending on the acoustic performance requested. Colored domes and/or aesthetic phase plug is integrated in the front flange.
Ranging from inexpensive standard systems to the most sophisticated high-end systems, a tweeter is present in most cars. ASK’s vast experience in acoustics design and material choices allow us to find the necessary performance in each audio system segment.
ASK’s long-standing experience ensures flawless mechanical integration of such a small product to produce a reliable assembly in car interface without any rattling for the lifetime of the vehicle.

Car Speakers: Subwoofers

Diameters ranging from 130 to 260 mm, front loaded magnet for shallow box shape.
Power up to 500 W with single/double voice coil diameters from 25 to 65 mm.
Vented/closed boxes (other acoustics principles available if necessary).
Subwoofer box size dramatically affects the acoustic performance of this product that is typical of HiFi and branded systems.Beside the usual expertise in acoustics development, ASK delivers excellent service level in the codesign during the development phase to find the optimum space inside cars adapting the product shape accordingly.
For the same reason, several assembly technologies and design rules are available in order to maximize the internal/external acoustic volume ratio.

Car Speakers: Ribbon Tweeters

Frequency response extended to 40 kHz and ready for HiRes Audio.
Excellent cumulative spectral decay "waterfall" response.
Integrated transformers to increase the impedance for usage with conventional amplifiers.
Automotive version of old ribbon loudspeaker, ASK’s patent preserves the typical excellent dynamic and acoustic performance of this technology guaranteeing at the same time the necessary reliability and performance stability.
High Premium/High End products also adding "eye-catching" look to the audio system thanks to Al ribbon surface that reflects light.

Car Speakers: Ultraflat

Scalable technology with diameters from 55 to 260 mm, ranging from subwoofers to small 3D wideband speakers.
Very high power handling thanks to voice coil sizes.
Shallow 1:5 form factor: 260mm diameter by 62mm depth, 100mm diameter by 23mm.
The ASK Group’s patented magnet system surrounding the speaker and facing the voice coil grants advantages in terms of shallowness, acoustic performance and excursion.
Ultraflats can be easily integrated in small spaces in cars where shallowness is critical, maintaining the same or better acoustic performance compared to conventional speakers.
Due to high excursion and form factor, it is possible to reduce the external sizes of subwoofer enclosures up to 5 times.
