Description

The selected candidate will join the ICT team at the Italian headquarters of a multinational organization, with a primary focus on the Systems area. Assigned activities will involve both the HQ and, cross-functionally, all group companies internationally. The candidate will collaborate with managers and other team members in managing, monitoring, and evolving corporate IT infrastructures, with particular attention to VMware environments and cloud solutions.

Skills Required

•            Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

•            Minimum of 5 years experience in system administration roles.

•            Advanced knowledge of VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi).

•            Experience with cloud solutions (preferably Azure, O365).

•            Excellent knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and basic networking.

•            Good command of English (mandatory requirement).

•            Ability to work in an international team, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

•            Availability for occasional annual travel (to be defined; infrequent). If the candidate needs to take a flight about once a year or travel within Italy a few times per year, this should not be an issue or a constraint.

•            Technical certifications are appreciated (e.g. VMware, Microsoft, Azure).

Responsibilities

•            Management of VMware environments (installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting).

•            Administration and integration of cloud solutions (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, Intune, SaaS services).

•            Operational tasks and troubleshooting on server systems and workstations.

•            Participation in projects aimed at updating and improving infrastructures, with a focus on virtualization and cloud technologies.

•            Preparation and updating of technical documentation.

•            Support and collaboration with the group’s international offices.
