Detailed Planning Responsibilities 

Demand Forecasting and Analysis: 
-Receive and analyze demand forecasts coming from Customer service and other companies of the group 
-Identify potential demand fluctuations and proactively adjust production plans in agrrment with production supervisor.
-develop a general master production planning that aligns plant demand and capacity.
-define detailed plan till the single working center considering lead times, resource availability, and material constraints.
-Overlook critical process points to decouple operations and absorb variability.
-optimize flow to minimize WIP inventory and reduce lead times.
- coordinate with procurement to ensure that materials are available when needed to support production schedules and resolve material shortages.
- coordinate with production leaders and Industrial Engeneering to assess production capacity and identify potential bottleneck in order to develop strategies to optimize resource utilization and improve production efficiency.
-track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, supplier and customer service level
-generate reports to monitor performances and identify areas for improvement. 

As Key User SAP is the one who gathers suggestions for improvement, contributing to the ongoing progress and manteniance of SAP planning module. He address end users with
technical requirements and get them directly involved in the implementation process as the main contact person for questions and problems during the operation of the new IT solution. Is the first and main contact for the central Supply chain department to define , implement and monitor new processes.

To cope with this role it is necessary to have an high level of proactivity and focus on problem solving . Analitycal skills are necessary to apporach any challenge with a data driven approach.
Experience in a planning team can be a key succes factor to catch the righ apporach in the problem setting
